Could not load file or assembly 'Microsoft.ReportViewer'

Could not load file or assembly 'Microsoft.ReportViewer.WebForms, Version=9.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b03f5f7f11d50a3a' or one of its dependencies.

While publishing your web application that contains reports can cause this exception when you are running the application in the server. The Reason is that the server does not contain the latest report viewer assemblies.

All you need to do is install the required latest redistributable for the report viewer based on the version of the VS available in the server.

For VS2005

For VS2008

Once the installation is done please restart or refresh the IIS. Hope this solves the problem.

Note: Please confirm with your system admin before you install this.
